Need Auth code for downloaded 6.4 upgrade Where???

I downloaded the upgrade to 6.4 and istalled it on my PC. Now when I start PT it wants an Auth Code from the inside cover of the "Upgrading to ProTools 6.4, etc..." Booklet, but I don't have one. Where am I supposed to get this code?

I tried entering my 6.1 code, but it says it's invalid.

Of COURSE, I do this right after Digidesign closes for the weekend!

The same PTLE 6.1 serial number that you used to download should also authorize PTLE 6.4.
Make sure you are entering it the same way it appears in your 6.1 upgrade booklet or getting started guide:
The first 4 letters are all caps: DIGI
All other letters are lower case
All “0” characters are zeros, not letters

If the same serial number you used to download does not authorize, then it is probably not a problem with the serial number.

Something else is more than likely going on with your authorization. Go through all of the troubleshooting steps in the thread at the top of the forum:

...particularly updating your PACE drivers and deleting preferences.

I walked away and took a break. When I returned a while later I realized that I copied the Auth Code from 6.1 and was deleting a letter for some stupid reason.

I feel like King Dunce!
