Quitting when deleting :(
The bug seems to be known: on LE 5.1 when you try to delete files when they are sorted by source file name, it craches with error type 2, 3 or 11, and even freezes sometimes; anyway, does anyone knows how to avoid this?

However, I failed to recognize that he is not sorting by creation date, so something else may be going on in the system. Since Pro Tools 5.1 was never tested with Mac OS 8.6, I would suggest (depending on your computer model) to downgrade to PT LE 5.0.1. Brent |

Re: Quitting when deleting :(
Just chiming in... I have this same problem... when I sort the regions by creation date, and then try to delete, CRASHOLA!!! ... and/or Type 1, 2, 3 errors.
So what I do is first sort by creation date, select all the regions I wish to delete, and then while the regions are still highlited, I re-sort to the default... alphabetical order I think it is... and THEN I hit option/DELETE... and it works fine. IMP |
