Attempting to record audio track crashes Pro Tools SE
I just got an Avid M-Audio Fast Track which came with Pro Tools SE. The install went fine, but when I go to record an audio track within Pro Tools SE, it crashes. When I click the record button on the track itself, it shows that my guitar is coming through ok, but when I hit record on top, all of a sudden my hard drive indicator goes wild and it crashes. The weird thing is, it leaves behind a file of like 3GB's in the project directory (when I didn't even record anything).
I tried recording in stereo and mono, also 16bit and 24bit. Nothing makes a difference, please someone help. I am so excited to start using this, but this is horribly frustrating. I have an Acer TravelMate laptop Windows XP SP3 1.5GB RAM 2GhZ Processor |

I figured it out. My C: partition is FAT, needed to be NTFS
