Default Leopard, Pro Tools 7.4.2, imac intel 2.4ghz and problems...

Hi there,
I wonder if anyone can help me or has a similar problem.
I am running Leopard 10.5.3 on an intel iMac 2.4GHz 20inch with 4GB of memory installed. I have installed the new release of Pro Tools 7.4.2.
I have N.I komplete 5 installed which I believe is all up to date.
When running even 1 click track, 1 midi track and an audio track with FM7 on it pro tools says usb audio is holding off or you are running out of CPU power. The other error i get sometimes is DAE error 750.
I have tried all playback engine settings with 1024 being the best.
My powerbook could do better than this!!

It seems that the Pro Tools thinks it's running out of CPU but I'm pretty sure there is no possible way it can be?
One plugin? Seriously?

Any help would be great.

Rob

Hi,

Seem to remember reading a post somewhere about NI not being leopard compatible yet, at least as far as RTAS was concerned. Maybe you should try NI forum.

Best regards
