I just bought my copy of Pro Tools LE 7.1 Today. I got it nicely installed but when i try to start it, it seems to load up nice but then i get that error message and program just crashes.. plz help i dont reinstalling wont work.

You'll need to identify your hardware (002, 003, MBox) as well as what configuration you're running on (Winxp, xpsp1, xpsp2) and the rest of the pertinents such as memory, what else might be on the box, etc.

There's usually an error log that is spewed as well, have you looked for that?

Check the Windows Application Event Viewer as well, it will tell you what module created the AV

I got mbox 2 mini, I tried to find some kind of log but didnt find one.
I have compatible comp but i just noticed that i got sempron 3400+ 64bit Processor and in support page they said it isnt compatible with pro tools LE, Can this error occur from my processor. Do i have to go to buy a new one. Im just afraid that it isnt the problem and its still there if i purchase new cpu
