Re: Pro Tools 10 - Disk access bug ?
Hi all
I have the same problem.I open a session to record 20 channels and for some rezone i got an error -9073 while recording and it stopped. I am using a MacBook pro I5 with an External hard drive 7200 rpm G-tech. I first used a 800 firmware and when i got the error i tried to do a bandwidths 1 firmware 400-800 from the computer to the desk and the 2nd firmware from the desk to the hard drive. But this wasn't helpful and i still got the error So once again is there any bugs on pt10 or this can be solved??? There is a lot of PT10 users who need the answers because this is my job to give my clients a good job and if i am not getting them that so maybe i and all the rest of Pt10 users will leave to another software ...http://duc.avid.com/images/icons/icon9.gif Is that the support we are getting????http://duc.avid.com/images/icons/icon5.gif 10x |

Re: Pro Tools 10 - Disk access bug ?
I''m also experiencing the 9073 since I upgraded to 10.3.2. Seems to be a new issue since 10.3.1 or 10.3.2.
I also see the disk activity peak at 100% and often times the 9073 right after. mike |

Re: Pro Tools 10 - Disk access bug ?
Hi guys,
I know its frustrating. I would say the most important things for success are: 1. MAC>>>002R>>>FW800(correct order for your hardware) 2. partition your drive into 2. install mac OS on both, install all your personal crap on one, and pt on the other. I can use it this way because i only use the MBP for location work. but it has saved my butt from going crazy. If you want to see my test log, let me know. Might give you some ideas on what to do next if you're going crazy like i was. best!
