PTs 6.9.3 Launch Failure [RESOLVED]

Hi,

I've been running PTs HD 6.9.3 cs4 in tiger 4.11 since February & now when I hit the application, I get the 'quit unexpectedly' message. I ran the Digi firmware test & everything is connected & the test was successful. I even re-installed the cs4 update & still the same quit message.

Any ideas of help would be appreciated.

Are you being prompted with a window to view the crash log? If you look in the Console (/Applications/Utilities/), are there any crash logs for Pro Tools?

Thank you for responding, however, before I read your response, Danny from the forum here sent me an e-mail suggesting I do a 'trash prefs/re-start' & that's what the culprit was. All is working fine now (knock on wood)~!
