Default Exporting track stems. Why is HD required for multitrack bouncing?

Why must we be required to purchase Pro Tools 11 HD for something so simple as to be able to export/bounce stems???

BTW, I'm referring to not having to bounce to audio tracks, then export clips as files. I'm talking about doing offline bouncing of all tracks instead of one at a time.

Pretty sure it's a HD feature only, so yeah, you do.

To answer the original question - there is absolutely no technical reason. Just another line in the sand.

Yeah, it is an HD only feature. "Multi-Source Bouncing" to be specific! Pretty ridiculous that this is an HD only feature! But then again, so is track input monitoring!

It is $5000 + $599 annually if you want to multi-source bounce or monitor track input, thank you

Ah. Yes… Sorry DJ, that is now clear.
Personally I don't trust off lining.

You've got both features in Logic Pro for the steep, steep price of $199. There is no way Avid will survive with these obscene DAW price differentials.

no were in this post do you mention Multi-Source Bouncing only Bouncing

so in conclusion your original argument is invalid to your point

one must be clear and concise to affect change
