Default Flanger is Audiosuite only?

I'm running PTLE 7, and I'm wondering if I'm missing an RTAS flanger. I can find it in the Audiosuite menu, but it doesn't show up in the RTAS pull-down menu with the rest of the plugs. Is the flanger exclusively Audiosuite? If so, is there a free RTAS flanger available? What about a chorus?

Thanks!

The Digi chorus and flanger have always been Audiosuite only.

EGS already listed the only free stuff I know about.

Some other chorus/flanger plugins include:
Waves MetaFlanger
Nomad factory Liquid bundle
..and a few others.

If you've got the VST-RTAS wrapper, the choices increase exponentially.

You can also create chorus and flange effects with the stock delays, but that takes a little bit of work and know how.

You could always just create a flanger with a short delay plug-in. Try this:

Insert a short delay plug-in on the track. Set the mix ratio to 50%. Now set a very short delay time (I suggest less than 3ms, but you'll want to experiment with this depending on the signal you're processing). Now you need some delay time modulation, so set the depth high, and set a low rate, less than 0.5Hz. To make the sweeps sound more "jet-plane-like", increase the feedback until you get the effect you want. It's a swell flanger.
