Default Morph speech & plugin : opinions please ?

Hi,

A recent client asked me for a way to morph 2 talents (man/woman) in the "best" way possible...
As I do not own Kyma, I recalled a softawre I used from Prosoniq in the OS 8/9 ages but as It was not ported over X, what would you suggest ?

Thanks in advance,

Olivier

The plug-in you mention is Prosoniq's Morph ( here )
It has been ported to os X.
imho it is not of much use, especially when compared to Kyma and the likes.
But you can tet it yourself. it may suite what you need it for.
Good luck.

you mean SonicWorx...it's not been ported to X, no, but it is now freeware....and it does do a neat trick from time to time

best way to do it is Kyma, but Prosoniq Morph will do allright IF you have the vocals perfectly aligned and their amplitude envelopes are very, very similar.

also try SPEAR: http://www.klingbeil.com/spear/

cheers,
d

Hi,

SonicWorx that was ! A truly great piece of software, pity it was not ported....
Thanks again for your time, I'll try those asap.

Cheers,

A.
