Default instrument track xpand plug n (help)

i am using my motif as a controller.
i created an instrument track and using xpand2 plug in as my instrument.
i recorded the midi info in the instrument track and i can hear the xpand2 plug in.

how do i go about creating an audio track from my midi info using th xpand2 plug in. i can't figure out how to set the i/o on the xpand2 plug in.

sorry for sounding novice but i've done the search and still can't figure this out.

Use your busses to route the signal because you can't apply effects to instrument tracks.
If you want to create an audio track for effects reasons then create an aux track and route the xpand2 to the aux, that way you can apply effects otherwise bounce the aux track to an audio track, but you first have to route it to the master stereo bus 1-2. Hope this helps.

create a stereo audio track. name it.

set the output of the instrument track to say buss 1-2

set the input of the audio track to buss 1-2

record arm the audio track

then hit record and play through the session and it should now be recording xpand onto the audio track.
