Default Session file Backups

Running LE on Mac. Some of my Session Backups and audio tracks do not end up in my session file but in a separate file on the same external hard-drive. Am able to copy audio tracks to "A Copy Of" file but the the backups do not come along. Would like to consolidate these backups to the session file. Thanks. JEL
