Noise at low buffer size after upgrade

Just sit down with the Focusrite and play, follow the book as far as you can and then just work out anything missing. I have not found their doc to be too bad. Draw yourself a signal flow diagram if that helps. Play with it all first without Pro Tools running and make sure you can work out how to setup cue mixes etc. There will be an aha moment when it all makes sense.

Thanks ... it's starting to make sense, but the problem is too much time between opportunities to actually sit down and spend time with it. I did go thru the book and I began to understand the flow. I just need to do it enough to get to that "A-ha" moment - I guess that would be the program saying "Take on me" :) (A-ha ... get it?)
