Default database internal error code 11

My rig crashed and when I tried to open up the session again, I am got an error "database internal error code 11".

I saw previous posts about trying to delete prefs, but I can't get Pro Tools to open even without opening a session and just opening the app itself - it quits on its own.

I deleted and reinstalled Pro Tools, and I'm getting the same results and error message.

I'm on an iMac 2015 High Sierra 10.13.6 and running Pro Tools 2019.6.0

Any help at all would be appreciated!

Best,
Mike

Hi welcome to DUC.

So... you need to delete/trash prefs, did you do that? Pro Tools not opening does not stop you doing that.

If you are stuck on trashing prefs: Read the instructions for trashing prefs under "help us help you" up the top of each DUC web page. Follow instructions for your setup. Lots of useful stuff there to read. You can also make it easier by using Pete Gates PT Prefs tool https://petegates.com/pgptprefs.html but read the standard troubleshooting stuff as well.

If you have not trashed prefs, and they are corrupted, reinstalling Pro Tools will not fix that as that does not replace the prefs files/databases. And if you read the standard troubleshooting guide reinstalling Pro Tools is one of the later things to try, but its very infrequently helpful.

First startup of Pro Tools will be slower after trashing prefs as Pro Tools rebuilds the plugin cache/index, this is normal.

If you are still having problems after trashing prefs describe exactly what you see on the screen, if you see a splash screen, what is on it before it crashes, if there are any error messages, etc.
