Default Old school PT/mac set up problems that need fixes!

Digi 001 Protools 5.1.1 LE on Mac G4 OS 9.2 - If you have this set up or similar and need fixes, post ur questions here and hopefully they're answered! (bcuz i need the help!)

I have the set up listed above and I cant get any sound to come out of my monitors but its coming out of the earphones from the digi 001 hardware. i need a trouble shoot list really bad. can anyone assist??

Are your monitors connected to the back of the Digi 001?

Are they powered monitors?

Toggle the Monitor Mode button on the front panel and make sure its gain is up.

Thx for the responses! No i dont have powered monitors. i have alesis monitor ones that are in excellent condition. running them thru a eurodesk sl3224 which is also great condition. (i know, pretty old school huh) i have the monitor gain up on the front and i even tried to connect the speakers directly to the digi 001 outs to no avail! is there maybe something within the protools program that was switch off or something?

Yo! I did a PRAM reset on the mac and it worked! monitors on! whew! thanks again yall!

Just to comment on the above, there is actually a software mixer inside PT LE that provides controls for the input gain on channels 3 to 8 on your 001. Go to Setups > Hardware > Other options. You'll see a window that looks like this:
