Eleven Rack Monitor is Off with Pro Tools 2018-07
I can play my guitar my bass and singing around with my Eleven Rack, and I can do it with Ableton Live and Logic X, and record there, and listen to the sound from the Elven Rack, but if I start Pro Tools 2018-07 on my Mac Book Pro, it shoot the monitoring via Eleven Rack down, if I start a session. Soon I quiet Pro Tools, I can listen to the Eleven Rack by it self.
The rest is working. I can record my bass and listen to it via Pro Tools, but that is not an option, I want to hear it before it goes to Pro Tools direct via Eleven Rack. Is there any new Preference or something?

This is the way it's supposed to work. Did you create an audio track and monitor or record enable the track?

Re: Eleven Rack Monitor is Off with Pro Tools 2018-07
I create a track, if I record on this track the original pure dry signal from Channel 1, I could hear the signal from Channel one on this track.
But I would like to hear instead the sound of the Eleven Rack (Channel 3 & 4), but I don't want to record it. For excample, I go with a Strat in the Eleven Rack I want to record this dry signal, but I want to listen to the Marshall-Sound inside the Eleven Rack, and not the drysignal. That was possible before, sinse I have my first Eleven Rack. And it's also pomoted in the advertisment-video for the Eleven Rack, that you could hear the sound of the Eleven Rack directly.

Create another track and have the input set to the effected signal and monitor from that. You don't have to record the track you're hearing.

But that is like hearing after Tape. That means I will have Delay. And I don't want to have the delay, I will hear direct from the Eleven Rack. If I do that with Logic X or Ableton I hear direct from the Eleven Rack.
But I have also a solution. If I do it via Aggregate in the Audio-Midi-Setup, Pro Tools don't switch the Eleven Rack off. But this Solution is only via OS X

Re: Eleven Rack Monitor is Off with Pro Tools 2018-07
Your latency settings need to be adjusted then if that's the case. Turn monitoring OFF on the dry track, and ON for the effected track. The 'delay' you're hearing is your latency settings.
EDIT Is there a setting in ProTools for 'Enable Hardware Monitoring' or something like that? Last edited by stormstudios; 08-22-2018 at 08:43 PM. |

Turn Low Latency Monitor on.
