Kush plug-ins now allow 2 activations per license

From an email I received today:

We've already done the work for you, by tapping into the iLok's "Concurrent Activation' functionality. IOW, 1 License = 2 Activations.

1) Launch the iLok License Manager

2) For some of you, the second Activation(s) will already be there

3) If not, simply deactivate any Kush Licenses (click on the iLok, select the License, right-click, select Deactivate)

4) Activate your Kush plugins on two of your iLoks at the same time!

I've been keeping my eye on Kush for a while now. Their products seem quite impressive.

I've noticed the Clariphonic has become a big favourite amongst many. Does any now know how using that compares with say, putting the Waves PuigTec EQ on a signal, or any alternative for that matter??

That also seems a popular approach by many.

Clariphonic is parallel. Closest Wave plug is probably Vitamin.

I am interested in Clariphonic a lot too. I believe it is something like Slate's Revival and Waves Vitamin (wit the difference that Vitamin is multi-band). Still not decided.

Oh yeah, I guess parallel is one thing. The Aphex Aural Exciter works that way too as does Vitamin as you mentioned.

The advantage of Vitamin over Apex is that it targets more than just the high end of the frequencies. I guess you could tailor Vitamin for very similar results to Clariphonic, but I would probably want to put it on its own buss where I can insert something like the PuigTec before hand.

That way you can boost target frequencies before it gets "enhanced" and then blend the result of that back in with the original.
