Anyone else having this problem ?
On sessions that I use this bundle, I get pr tools crashes all the time.
I went back to 11.2 then 11.1.3 and it was still crashing.
Now I'm using all new sessions without using plug and mix and no more crashes. Something is up for sure.
If I go back to my sessions with plug and mix. Bam, it crashes again...
Argh..

I see that the Windows 64-bit installer is for 3.1. Their message board says the correct installer will be available any moment and 3.3 is coming very soon after. Should I just wait to install this?

Hello jurld,

There is a 3.3 version coming very soon and as I have forwarded the reports of ProTools crash reports the developers are looking into this and there should be some "fixes" included in this version.

Best Regards,

Nick

Hello everybody,

Just to let you know, the corrected Plug and Mix 3.2 Windows version has been posted to the downloads on the site here:

http://www.plugandmix.com/support/downloads/

The reports we have had recently about crashes with ProTools 11 running AAX DSP hardware came to us after the 3.2 was finalized. Those issues should be addressed in the 3.3 coming soon.

Best Regards,

Nick

So Nick, For those of us with HDX systems, should we stay on 3.1 for now?

I can't use the plug-ins either. I'm hoping a new release will help.

Hello Paul,

I have reported this to our developers.

Is there anything else you can tell me about the crashes?

Details of your system: RAM, OS version, HDX hardware, model of Mac or PC

Is their a DAE error message?

Is it after the ProTools boots and the session opens? Does it get that far?

Or when a P+M is inserted on a channel?

If a "new session" is created with Plug and Mix plug-ins installed, does it open? If a new track is created? If a Plug and Mix is inserted on that track?

Any answers help us to track it down and fix it.

Thanks for your time.

If anyone else wants to contribute with details, please do.

Best Regards,

Nick

Hello Tom,

If it is working for you and is solid, yes.

If you are having problems, try the 3.2, it did fix a "memory leak" problem with the Tonestack that could just be a cause for other things not going working perfectly.

I have reported to our developers all the info that I have seen.

3.3 should address all the issues that we can duplicate.

Best Regards,

Nick
