Default Moves clips vertically without shifting horizontally

Oddly enough, after 10 minutes of searching, I can't find an answer to this very basic question.

I am working in PT10, Mac.

I need to move clips from one track to another (i.e., vertical move), without shifting the timing of the track left or right (i.e., without horizontal moves). The timing needs to remain absolutely identical to what it was in the original track.

Currently, I am using my mouse to click each clip, one by one. Keyboard focus is enabled. I then simply drag up or down to the desired track.

Ideally, I want to continue working this way, except I want to be able to hold a button while dragging-vertically to prevent any shifting-horizontally.

Any ideas?

Control key is your friend while using the Grabber.

Or copy, then move up/down with the P or ; key then paste.
