Revised c8 soon?

I heard a rumour a while back that the c8 was getting upgraded soon... any news on this?

Maybe something like a procontrol? I wouldnt mind a c24 without preamps or a/d or even d/a , makes everything look more impressive.

I even just noticed now, the product description says compatible with 002, not even 003.

I'm hoping for a Command16 or Command24(but then again, I'm hoping for a DIGI004rack with 2 mic preamps and 16 channels of SMUX lightpipe)

haha 004 would annoy me, i only just got 003. But hell yes i wish it had SMUX

I haven't heard anything, I asked a few dealers.
I think they definitely need a new one, 16 channels with no pres and a better LCD. Or just expandable.

jeez..i'd be happy if they just made it LOOK better!!
The late 90's cheapo design puts me off buying it as it is. it should have been rediesigned when the preferable 003 came out.
Ideally an 8 channel controller with more of a "channel strip" knob layout would suit best, but the ability to add more than one, ala Mackie HUI (which i currently use still) would be much better!
Cmon Digi...how long you gonna make me edit using Hypercontrol's crappy knobs and faders??!!

I´d like to see a modular C|xy with fader-packs to expand when ever you´d need to.

and of course - way more functionality. at least automation-mode-integration.

The difference in features on the Command 8 and 003 Console are huge. The 003 smokes the Command 8. This alone is why they should upgrade the Command 8, most users don't realize that the Control on the 003 is so much better so they go to a MCU pro or other. I'd love to have a Command 8 that was just like the 003 Console.

The ability to use more than one would be good too!
