Default Mbox 2 firmware upgrade error

I've tried to upgrade firmware on my Digi design M box 2 interface.
and now its not working anymore. lights are gone.
when i plugged it to usb the error msg shown up and it says " USB Device Not Recognized " .
its not recgnize even when i was installing PT 8.
how bad ...
i'm totally down with it.
how do i fix this ?
any one is there to help me ,,,
please please pleaseeeeeeeeeee....

I know I upgraded the firmware on my mbox 2 Pro and it actually finished fine so I never had any issues with it

Have you searched the DUC (via the search function) that might provide more usefull info.

Those are pretty old units and most people aren't updating the firmware on them b/c they have already been done

have you try out with win xp ?
