A long cathedral IR would get close!!! My favourie IR used four chips and was about four seconds.
I imagine Altiverb would use less chips on an HDX system because its chips have a lot more memory than TDM.

It should have to! It's just that some companies such as Waves refuse to acknowledge that Avid AAX-DSP is a major plugin platform and worth developing for. Those companies don't see my money. Some have genuinely said that they have problems developing but they are in the process... As long as it's not Steven Slate's "soon" I can wait
