Default S6L to Profile backwards compatibility

Hello, I know I can open a Profile file on an S6L, but can I do the opposite as well or do I need to maintain two separate files for when I encounter the Profile and when I encounter the S6L?
Thanks

Right now it's not possible to open S6L shows on VENUE 4.x or earlier. I.e. on S3L and Profile/D-Show/SC48.

The main reason for this is because S6L is way more flexible when it comes to Aux/Grp/Matrix channels. Ability to make arbitrary channels stereo makes it impossible (in general case) to map S6L channel configuration into what S3L/Profile/D-Show/SC48 can do.

This is as it is for VENUE 5.2. This may or may not change in future.

Hope to change this for S3L-X in the near future!

the S6L system has only gotten more and more configurable since release, it's actually less and less possible to properly convert show files back to 4.x 3.x and 2.x.

That said, all S6L software versions are compatible with ALL S6L software versions, meaning, building a file on 5.7.1 will open on 5.0.0.
