Opening AAF containing .MOV video with new Mac Pro
Ok, so this is interesting.
When using a new Mac Pro and Catalina, has anyone tried opening an AAF file that contains a .mov or .mp4? I know that Avid has done away with .mov and .mp4 files in Catalina, so I'm curious as to what happens. I know about Shutter Encoder to convert standalone .mov and .mp4, but I'd love to know what happens when that video is embedded in an AAF file. |

Re: Opening AAF containing .MOV video with new Mac Pro
I never use embedded AAFs but as far as referenced AAFs go they only ever contained MXF picture media. Never seen .mov or .mp4.

Or is there a separate media folder with an AAF document?
