Update Plan Renewal doubled in price

They've been quietly giving deals on reinstatement at (www.sweetwater.com) and renewals at (www.thomannmusic.com) through their authorized resellers. That might indicate things aren't going quite as well as expected.

And what exactly are we getting in return? Answer: NOTHING. Nothing new. Same old bugs and crashes, same tired old interface. No new features, old features such as Dynamic Transport messed around so they don't work anymore...no more money from me AVID. I BOUGHT Pro Tools early 2000's with a (useless) Avid interface. That should have been it. Once bought upgrades should be free like Harrison Mixbus and others. Not "perpetually" paying for it. This is one big scam and ripoff, today Avid have left a very, very nasty taste in my mouth and it ain't Santa's mingey mince pies.

Yeah, it's bad. No sugar coating it. Don't they realize that if you focus on quality first, profit will follow. If you put profit first, quality will suffer and eventually customers will leave. It won't happen over night, but eventually enough folks get tired of the late to need OS updates, endless bugs, etc.

Actually a lot of these are Product numbers that the retailers already had "in stock" prior to the price changes in July
