Default PT 10 Native Plug-in folder

Hi,

I've just moved from HD2 Accel to HD Native, PT10, on OS 10.6.8. So far, all's well.

Before installing the Native card and PT10, I ran the PT8 uninstaller and chose a complete uninstall. Nevertheless, my plug-ins folder (Library>Application Support>Digidesign) was not removed, because after installing PT10 it immediately recognized all of my installed plugs, and indeed the folder is still there.

So my question is: can someone confirm that the Digidesign plug-ins folder at the location referenced above is still the correct location for RTAS plugs I'll be using with PT10 on the Native system--or should I be moving these plugs to another folder (for example, I notice that there is now also an Avid folder at the same location)?

Thanks.

Hi Chuck:

I did a similar upgrade several weeks ago and the plug-ins folder is in the same location, complete with Digi (and non-Digi) plug-ins, both old and new.

All is well and the plug-ins are recognized and function correctly.
