cannot launch ProTools SE on Mac

Hi guys


I am having trouble in starting Pro Tools 8.0.3. on a Mac version 10.8.1 > seemingly installed the software and the M Audio Pre-USB device IS connected, yet when I start the programme it is telling me that my hardware isn't connected...Any help would be appreciated

It worked fine on my Windows based laptop, so it isn't the hardware that is corrupt

Have you installed the latest driver for the m-audio ...

also could try going to setup / playback engine and make sure the m-audio is selected as the audio engine

You may need to locate and install Patch 003 for Pro Tools SE 8.0.3.
