Start Up
I have noticed that PTF stays long to start up when compared to other DAW,its a bit sluggish and CPU heavy.

It appears that you have been using PTF since 2015 and have always had this issue. It has been hinted at NAB 2017 that there are updates to PTF coming. You can sign up to be notified of the new version, which may help your issues.
You can also take a look at the Help Us Help You thread, which contains information on troubleshooting and optimizing your system. We want you to have a good experience using ProTools, so report back on your findings and feel free to post any questions you may have. |
