MBox2 Pro:Zero-Latency Hardware Direct Monitoring?

I've owned an original MBox since its release, and I'm planning on upgrading to the MBox 2 Pro. My question is this: is there latency-free direct hardware monitoring with the MBox 2 Pro, as there is with the original MBox? In other words, If I mute the track I'm recording to and just listen to the audio signal as it passes through the interface, is there still zero-latency? I know that the MBox and MBox 2 have a 'Mix' knob, and that the MBox 2 Pro does not.

Also, with my original MBox, I got used to the tracking latency issue, where every recorded take had to be Shifted 164 samples earlier. Is there a similar latency issue here as well, or has it been taken care of?
