Default What is taking so long

I see there is a Digi post on this that has reached 4 pages. I am curious as to why it is taking so long to qualify PT LE 7 with the latest versions of OSX. Does it not seem to be taking longer than usual? I seem to remember LE being qualified much faster with the new versions when it was PT 6 and PSX 10.3.whatever.

Probably because the boys n' girls doing R&D @ Digidesign are busy with many on going projects right now. Hence If it isn't broken, or u aren't in immediate need of a feature an update provides... Don't Bother Doing it !

Just my 02. Cents,

Scott

You know, Pro Tools has to be made to work with the new Intel chips that Apple is using. I'm sure the Digi folks are spending a bunch of time on that these days.

FWIW - Some Mac enthusiast sites are reporting that 10.4.6 has been forwarded to developers.

I mean it would be nice to go to the latest version of Tiger and get the security updates etc and iTunes and all that. I am hesitant to upgrade any of it. I wonder why Digi doesn't issue any kind of statement about it other than it is just not qualified. That post was in Jan, it has been two months.
