Default Access Violation

Hello all,

I was tracking drums with a client and I was using the playlists feature and had just switched all of the drum tracks to playlist view. And then was about to comp the takes when I got an access violation. And had to force quit PT as well as restart the computer. What could have caused this?

Thanks,
Eric

What kind of hard drive were the files living on? If it was a firewire drive, it might've been a firewire bus reset which temporarily dropped the drive off the system or something like that.

The audio was being recorded to and living on a dedicated internal drive.

Hi All,

I have trashed prefs, as well as repair disk permissions on the boot drive. All seems to be well now. Very odd that thing that happened.
