lo-fi plugin stops working

Occasionally when I am working in a session with the lo-fi plugin on a track, I may change another plugin on that track, move the lo-fi plugin up or down a slot, or make some other change in the session, then suddenly the plugin stops working completely. The presets don't load, the sliders don't work, it doesn't have any effect on the sound. I think this may be the case with all the d-fi plugins (sci-fi & recti-fi too), but only recall seeing it with lo-fi since I haven't used the others much recently. Currently the only workaround I've found to resolve the problem is to quit Pro Tools, power cycle the DIGI002, and restart Pro Tools.

I'm on Pro Tools LE 7.4 on a dual 2GHz G5 Power Mac (PPC) with a DIGI002 Rack, and the session is a 48KHz 24bit format.

That set is audiosuite only.......isn't it?

If audiosuite isn't working make sure the use in playlist button is pressed and higlighted white.

No.

It's the lo-fi RTAS version on an audio track that is having the problem. I haven't tried the AS one to see if the same thing happens to it when the RTAS plugin won't work.

Have you tried trashing preferences yet? Which version of those plug-ins do you have installed? Have you verified that ALL installed plug-ins are compatible?
