Similar behavior here... Clip End Pad in Strip Silence would only give me a few values near 0 then jump to 4000. Also, my Octave slider in Transpose would not change the value from 0. Quit & relaunch solved both. If you have a recipe to make this happen please go to my.avid.com > Access The Support Center > Equipment and start a new case referencing PT-268466. Thanks!

Hope this helps. It's not a fix but serviceable until avid addresses this

does not work... PTU 2020.12 on Win 10 Pro.
Very annoying bug... please fix asap.

I tried the workaround, (holding the usual modifier key) and did not work here (Mac)

Yup Same thing here. Trashed prefs, new session, etc.

This has been happening on my system for a while now. Currently on 2020.12. Holding modifier keys doesn't unlock the sliders on Strip Silence for me.

Sometimes closing and reopening fixes the issue, sometimes not. It happens many times throughout the day.

I think I'm going to brave installing 2021.3 if I don't find any red flags.
