What means "end of the year" in Avid's language?
The press release of 12.7 mentions that Avid would release this update "by the end of the year".
I'm wondering... what year? Hahaha. Do we should expect a new Protools in less than 2 weeks? Really? It sounds to me like a desperate way to convince angry users to renew their subscriptions this month. $$$$$ Btw, I must mention that I am pretty happy with 12.6.1 Very stable in general, only a few "nonsense" crashes here and there, but definitely its more stable than past releases. Lets see what happens. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by del cosmos; 12-20-2016 at 08:44 AM. |

They have been doing quarterly releases, usually in the last week or two of the quarter. Probably next week, but maybe in the next couple of days.

Cool! I hope 12.7 comes more stable, every time they implement new features something gets broken.
