Default Whats the benifit of Autotune \'TDM\'?

Hello. Im getting pretty interested in buying autotune and mic modeler. I like both of them and have experience with them, but I'm wondering if there is any great reason for me to buy the tdm instead of the RTAS. I have 1gig RAM, and I have HD1, so that card fills up quick since i have to use the dsp for friggin auxes and mix engines. Is there any features on either of those plugins that I would really want to pay an extra 200 for the TDM versions? Also, if and when I upgrade to accel 2, can you upgrade plugins at all? I would appreciate any input. thanks.

chris.

i personally find the rtas software to work fine at a better price if you have the cpu power.

The benefit of TDM is that CPU power is in giving you the choice of where to allocate your resources. If you need the precious CPU power for native synths or other native processing (like altiverb ..) you can move plugs to TDM ... of course it can go the other way too - i.e. TDM is full and you overflow to RTAS versions. So the answer is flexibility ... also TDM can be inserted on AUX's, RTAS cannot in a TDM system unless there is a HTDM version ... but they seem buggy to me! I would say get the RTAS now and upgrade later if you find you need it - you don't have much spare juice to lose once TDM chip per 2 instances of AT IMHO
