Default Re: Moving MIDI notes and control data (sustain) simultaneously?

How is that different from moving the regions? Since the regions are containers for the notes and their associated data? Is there MIDI data in the track, in those areas, that you don't want to move?

Unhappy Re: Moving MIDI notes and control data (sustain) simultaneously?

Good luck with that answer as I have never found it. As far as I can see, automation data points can't be moved as a group... that I have found... Can it, anyone?

Yes, most definitely. By at least two different methods as explained in some of the replies above.

Default Re: Moving MIDI notes and control data (sustain) simultaneously?

looking for an answer on this myself and came across this old post.

Here's what I did to remedy the problem.

Close MIDI Editor window and go back to the normal EDIT screen.
Find the point at which you want to move said MIDI data (notes, etc..)

Right click and "separate" that section of notes. Drag that section to where you want it. Done.

MIDI notes and control data will all be moved together.
