SPDIF from DVD problems
I'm using spdif for the first time and am having some problems recording from my dvd player. i've set the session to 48khz/16bit and changed the i/o and hardware settings to spdif, but still no sound. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: SPDIF from DVD problems
Double check your I/O setup. Maybe you are not setting your SPDIF as input. remember the I/O setup has input section and output secrion separately. Also set word clock to external, SPDIF. I have done that (DVD-SPDIF out, PT digital in), with no problem. Good luck
