I see.
I am still on PT 8.0.4 because the PT updater does not work properly on my system (actually it doesn't work at all) and I was in the middle of a production while I was updating my Mac OS and I left it at the first working system I got...but you are right - this may be the reason I am having these issues. Well since I have found a workaround (editing from the 11rack itself) I am quite ok with that. The other thing - the slow response of the 11Rack (or actually a latency) when moving the EXP Pedal is still there though...
