Okay - who else does an ADT plugin? One that isn't tied to a dsp platform. No one else that I know of has a license to do the Abbey Roads stuff.

I still love a lot of Waves plugins. There are probably things newer or maybe better but I've been using them for so long I just really know a lot of them well.

I upgraded my 2012 Mini Server to the new Mac Mini last year and I love the new machine even more than the old one.

One odd thing is even though I upgraded to V12 some of my plugs are still V11 (the 1 band EQ comes to mind) so maybe all of the plugs haven't been updated yet.

The one frustration I have with Waves is I have Mercury with Studio Classics and Abbey Road bundle. When I did my WUP it was expensive but the voucher they gave me to offset the cost basically was useless.

At the end of the day I don't think their pricing is so bad because last year I paid for a year subscription with Avid and didn't get any updates but had I not paid it would have cost me 1k to come back. At least with Waves you can lapse and come back when you would like to.

Are the plugins that didn't convert all up on WUP?

While I don't have anywheres near the work load you have I have yet to have problems with Waves plugins (except for this debacle with Metal cards and Waves not saying anything about it). That said I'm not buying any more stuff from them.

There’s more than enough competition for Waves and I stopped using them after I put my Mix system out of work 2005. Their license policy (WUP) etc. and the price to quality ratio of their new products in a growing plug-in market didn’t work for me.
I‘m using the Avid stock plugs a lot and have a Soundtoys and an Izotope bundle and the Massey plugs.
Waves was essential when TDM started but is one choice besides others now.

Update:
Waves changed the wording for the statement to reflect that any Mac without Metal support won't work with v12.

So I'll try tomorrow to install V12 on my MP2010 with Radeon RX560.
Last week, when I attempt to install the V12, Waves Central gave me the error at the end of the installer.

On my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 everything fine.

Multiple error on Mac Pro 2010 with macOS 10.13.6 and MSI Radeon RX560. Everything ok on MBP Mid 2012 with Catalina. You can find here https://www.waves.com/support/error-...-waves-central
