Xpand Freezing PT

does anybody have a problem with xpand freezing pro tools? It doesn't happen all the time but, it's annoying when it happens. I can run PT easily with no issues but sometimes it crashes after 10-20 mins anytime actually. n it happens only when xpand is on.. Win7. im curious if somebody else had the same thing happening

Make sure all of your plug-ins including Virtual Instruments are up to date.

Happens to me only when I'm auditioning patches and looking for that specific sound I want. Now I just make certain that I'm not playing back while changing patches and no more problems.

Symptoms - no more sound from the system and I have no choice but to save and restart. No reboot required.

my plugin is up to date im pretty sure about that.
It usually happens when i play back and go through patches as AlainZagar said, but sometimes it happens when i have a blank session, and only xpand is turned on. Im not quite sure what could cause it because in PT8 i never had this problem. It's only with PT9

I meant 'all' plug-ins in your plug-in folder. Are they all up to date?

and i hope all my plugins are up to date there. I have some vst wrapped plugins from Kjaerhus Audio n i know they old. but i really love the sound of em. especially delay which i use all the time
