Default Pops and clicks when pressing stop/play?

Hello everyone

If you have read my other posts you will know I've just updated to 9.0.5 so I can use the new waves v9 plugins. Waves have been helping me out regarding my problem with their auth, but I have realised when I press the play/stop icon in the display or click on the beats bar in the edit window to pick a place in the session to start from I get clicks and pops. I've used acronis to make a system image of 9.0.3 and will revert back to this if I can't get the problem sorted. Has anyone encounted this kind of problem before if so how did they fix it. Would upgrading to PT 10 help. I've heard that its the most rock solid version is this true.

Thanks for your time
Raoul Crane
