Default Hackintosh - H67 & i5 2500K ?

Hi all, I don't know whether this should be in Mac or Windows!

Anyway, what about this Hackintosh spec for running PT8.0.3

• Motherboard: Gigabyte MB GA-H67MA-USB3-B3
• CPU: i5 2500K 3.3GHz 1155 6MB Cache
• Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz XMS3 Memory CL9 1.5V Unbuffered
• OSX 10.6.8

Has anyone got any experience with these boards or chips? I'd probably sort out a TI firewire port as well.

Bearing in mind that I'm currently using a 2.0 Ghz 2009 Macbook, d'you think this should give me some more plugin mixing power - if it's compatible that is?

I think Im gonna forget about hackintosh.

There's no certain information available - just people guessing.

Also the LAST thing you find (if at all) on a Hackintosh is a firewire port!

By the time I've finished researching all of this it I could have worked enough to buy a Mac Pro....

I think Hackintosh is mainly for PC users.

Goodbye windows forum.
