Default Post Conform Audio EDL??

I am looking to capture Audio from DAT with an Audio EDL, How is this done in Pro Tools these days? Do i need any other Software like Post Conform? Do I need a Sync IO? any other Hardware besides a Time Code DAT?

Thanks Mark

PostConform only works with OS 9, so unless you are running MIX or HD (not Accel), you will not be able to PostConform. If you have Final Cut Pro, that would work. IF you have AVID Xpress Pro or Media Station|PT, that would work as well.

Thanks for the info,

I have FCP. The EDL comes from an Avid.

Do you know what hardware I need to get FCP to talk to the TC DAT?

Thanks Mark

A Keyspan USA-28x USB<-->Serial adapter (though if any hardware you purchased for FCP already has 9pin on it, try using that first).
