PT cannot see my interface
I have a Focusrite 4i4 that I've been using for about 2 months. This morning I forgot to plug it in before starting PT and when PT opened and I tried to open a project I got the familiar message that inputs were missing. So I closed PT, plugged in my interface and even rebooted but it still isn't seeing it. I even tried to create a new project but the interface isn't showing up as an option for outputs or inputs.
This is on Windows 10. What could be wrong? I can open Focusrite Control so I know that the box is connected.

Did you reselect the 4I4 in Pro Tools’ playback engine?

Make sure that Windows is NOT using the focusrite as the default playback device.

Nope - that was it. Had to re-select the Focusrite under Setup->Playback engine. I didn't expect that since I never saved anything with it screwed up, but I should have thought to check that.
