MC Transport - Anyone replicate this crash?

Hi All,

I'm puzzled by this crash. It happens in every application, even the finder. Does anyone else get this?

Open EuCon using the SHOW button on the transport
Click on either the jog or shuttle wheel in the EuCon App
Crash!

I am on a Mac Pro using 10.6.7. It only happens with Eucon version 2.5.6 or 2.5.7 not 2.5.5.

I am in contact with Avid support about the matter but they haven't found a solution yet.

Yep, I can confirm it happens here. I'm on 10.6.4, eucon 2.5.6.

We've been able to reproduce this as well and will log it for a fix.

In the meantime, opening EuControl Settings manually (by clicking on the EuCon icon in the menu bar) will allow you to click on jog or shuttle without crashing.

Can you also confirm that the same thing happens when you select 'Eucon' from the drop down 'Command' menu?

No worries. I'm on a 6-core Westmere Mac Pro.

Not sure where you're talking about selecting 'Eucon' from the 'Command' menu?

Can you give me the exact steps you're taking prior to this happening? I want to be sure we're trying to repro correctly.

Sure.

Open Eucon. (It doesn't matter whether my MC Transport is on or off)
Go to the 'SOFTKEYS' page.
Select a key to edit (so it has a yellow outline)
Click on 'Command...' button.
in the 'Add' drop down menu, select' 'Eucon'
Instant crash.

I think it is possibly related to the other crash I am experiencing.

Which application is in focus at the time you're doing this?

Keep in mind that only EuCon enabled applications can use EuCon commands. I think selecting a EuCon command when a non-EuCon app is in focus could be the cause of the crash.
