Do you mean plugs that require the Accel chips?
Revibe and Impact are the only 2 that I remember being Accel only at the time.
I don't remember any 3rd party doing Accel only plugs but I could be wrong.

Thanks Craig F. So are you saying that with 10 plus years of Accel, that only two Digi plugs exist and no 3rd party? But when I look at my system usage, often the Accel chips are near maxed. So do the Accel chips do things other than running Accel plugs?

I have an SBS Chassis with 4 PCI cards, a PCI HD Core, 2 HD Accel PCI and 1 HD Process PCI. I'm want to get rid of the chassis and go to an HD2 Accel PCIe. My third Mac slot has a UAD Quad. I'm trying to decide if my four card PCI system is more powerful than a 2 card Accel PCIe system. Sure would be nice not to hear the SBS Chassis fan.

Thanks much, Fred

They run regular plugs as well
Cards with Accel chip have more voices than the non Accell cards as I remember
The Accel chips were the last update to the family line then Motorola said no more development on the line so that kill a lot of development for them

There was a White Paper on the difference but it was only like 10~15% bump

Look at replacing the fan(s) with a quieter model(s)

The Accel cards had more onboard RAM. This is what made ADC possible starting with Pro Tools v6.4. While ADC is available on non-Accel systems, it is not practical. My recollection is that ADC on non-Accel systems required sacrificing half of your available voices.
