wheel to scrub on Logic

I realize this is probably a dumb question but I can't figure out how to get the Dock's wheel to scrub audio in Logic Pro X. I tried setting a soft key to press the Pause button in order to engage scrubbing and also adding two functions for left/right jog functionality to scrub audio but it just does the standard jog thing where it moves by bar across the timeline.

hmm, not too familiar with Logic.... Is it a dock issue, or are are you having issues with scrubbing in general? Can you get the audio to scrub using the mouse?

Yes scrubbing works fine when using the mouse. I just am unable to determine what settings to apply in my configuration in EuControl for the wheel in order to map left/right of the job wheel to cause it to scrub.

Hmm, so when you press Jog on the dock does it activate the wheel at all, or you just don't hear the scrubbed audio??? sometimes you have to press Jog a couple of times to actually get it to work.... You can also try creating a custom wheel command (sending transport ff and transport rwd keyboard shortcuts) and assigning it to a softkey...

Thanks Anthony. I finally figured it out. There was a soft key in the bottom row called

Scrub ~Wheel~

After clicking that it engaged the scrubbing audio option in Logic and I'm able just click Jog and that button and scrub audio as expected.
