Default What in the...?!?! (missing audio files)

I opened up a session only to discover all the audio files were missing. Did the whole attempting to relink files process and nothing came up. None of the files are in the audio folder of the session and couldn't be located elsewhere. Honestly, I have no idea where else they could possibly be.
How is this even possible? None of my other sessions are missing files. I haven't opened this one in a few weeks. Haven't done anything with it.
Am I hosed? The files are somewhere on my computer, right?

Have you tried searching via finder for one of the files that are missing? If it’s on your computer, it will find it. Well, unless your Spotlight search is borked.

If it doesn’t find it, it’s not on your computer. Perhaps you had an external drive connected and the files were set to record there.

It's always best to back up any changes to another 2 drives before shutting down, but i'm sure most of us have forgotten at least once.

Both the relink window and the session browser (option - o) will show you where the files were last located.

Did you have another drive connected when you were working on the song last time?

If you do what DetroitT suggests, PT will show you what drive and folder the files should be on.
