Computer suggestions??
My old ASUS is on its last leg....looking for a new computer to run ProTools 10.0 for under $1,500. Any suggestions on available options?

With that budget, I would shop for a deal on a used combo: X79 motherboard, intel i7 6 core (3930K) and 32GB of DDR3 RAM(4x8GB sticks), Add a decent PSU(700 watts or bigger), a decent graphics card(nVidia GeForce 750 ti?) and use a Samsung 850 EVO fo the system drive. With a fair deal on the first 3 items(mobo/cpu/RAM) you should be well under $1500 with money left over for a nice case, cooler and maybe some extra drives.
The next level up would be an X99 motherboard, i7 6800K and 32GB of DDR4, but that might stretch your budget a bit(especially with DDR4 prices lately). Or hit up pro-tools-pc.com and see what you can spec there
