Default Freezing all outputs of a multichannel instrument track causes -9400 error 2018.1

Wow, I'm having a bug catching morning. Anyone else got this? Tested here in W10, using Omnisphere and Kontakt.

1. Create a mulichannel instrument (with at least 1 aux attached).

2. Freeze All (including all attached auxes)

3. Playback = AAE error -9400 or -9405 (I get the former with Omnisphere, the latter with Kontakt).

Also weird - when freezing the entirity of a 2nd instance of Kontakt, it also froze a different instance.

Also also weird - freezing just one aux works fine. Freezing 2 out of 8 in Omni works fine. Freezing 3 or more causes the playback error. On a 2 output instance of Kontakt, freezing 1 was fine, freezing both causes the error.

EDIT - this is working normally for me on the Mac, just a PC issue.

Hi John - Omni and Kontakt are both up to date latest versions. PT10HD is installed on Win 10 but not MacOS. MacOS is 10.13.2 - I haven't checked this one on the mac yet, will be able to do that tomorrow.

...actually just checked this on the mac now, and it's behaving normally so looks like this one is PC specific for me. Will update the OP.

Mac only guy here, but I know for certain that PT10 was never supported with W10.

...just to be clear, I'm not currently using PT10 at all, I haven't needed to do that for nearly a year, but it is still installed as a just-in-case. I'm curious, is there a suggestion that this error might be caused by PT10 being present on the machine?
